Mogadishu hostages land in Frankfurt/Main

Some of the liberated hostages, partly covered with sheets, leave the Lufthansa aircraft "Cologne" in Frankfurt am Main on the 18th of October in 1977 in Frankfurt am Main. The Lufthansa aircraft "Landshut" with more than 80 travellers on board was hijacked by four terrorists five days ago during the flight from Mallorca to Frankfurt. After an odyssee via Rome, Cyprus, Dubai and Aden, the hostages were liberated by the German elite unit GSG-9 in Mogadishu/Somalia.
