An East German transport police man on the area of the train station Gesundbrunnen on the 9th of November in 1961.
The East German Railways had erected a water tower with the writing "GDR" at train station Gesundbrunnen in Berlin-Wedding on the area belonging to West Berlin. Furthermore, soldiers from East Berlin had digged themselves in. After several protests of French town majors, the water tower was removed by the authorities of East Berlin and the confrontation came to an end.
