Afghan King Aman Ullah (l) and President of the Reich Paul von Hindenburg (m) in an open car through masses of people through Brandenburg Gate. The Afghan royal couple arrived for a visit to Berlin on the 22nd of February in 1928 during his journey through Europe. It was the first official visit of a crowned sovereign to Germany since the end of World War I.
