Propaganda text of National Socialist report on the back of the picture:
"Fight of the mountain infantry with Soviets and forces of nature at the Kluchor pass (Caucasus). Imprisoned Bolsheviks, who carry supplies and ammunition, during the ascent on the glacier of the Kluchor pass. They do their work willingly, since they receive a good meal". Motive from the Soviet front, Caucasus, on the 14th of October in 1942. The attack of the German Wehrmacht on the Soviet Union on the 22nd of June in 1941 was going under the alias "Operation Barbarossa".
