Advertising poster, drinks advertisement, an advertising poster by V. Palyart & Cie of Brussels promoting Elixir de Spa, a Belgian herbal liqueur. The liqueur was originally distilled in the 17th century by Capuchin monks in the Spa region, in front of Schaltin, Pierry & Cie took over production in 1858. The product was marketed as a plant-based digestive liqueur (digestif) to aid digestion and was made from over 40 herbs, an authentic reproduction of a historical advertising poster, advertising sign, in high resolution
