On the occasion of the war in Ukraine, which will last exactly one year on 24 February 2023, thousands of people gathered in Frankfurt am Main for a peace demonstration. On the Römerberg, participants held leaves in the colours black, red, yellow and blue in the air, creating a huge image of Ukrainian and German national flags.
