Scenographia Systematis Copernicani, scenography of the Copernican system. It comes from the celestial atlas Harmonia Macrocosmica by Andreas Cellarius, which was first published in 1660. The map illustrates the heliocentric view of the world as described by Nicolaus Copernicus (1473 to 1543) in his work De revolutionibus orbium coelestium. At the centre of this system is the sun, which is orbited by the planets, including the earth, digitally restored reproduction from a 17th century original, authentic, exact date of depiction unknown
