Historical sky map Haemisphaerium Scenographicum Australe Coeli Stellati et Terrae by German astronomer and cartographer Andreas Cellarius, comes from his famous celestial atlas Harmonia Macrocosmica, which was originally published in 1660. The map shows the constellations of the southern hemisphere in a scenographic representation, meaning that the constellations appear to float as living, mythological figures above a geographical representation of the southern hemisphere, including South America, southern Africa and the Terra Australis Incognita, digitally restored reproduction from a 17th century original, authentic, exact date of depiction unknown
