Historical copper engraving entitled Phases of the Moon comes from the famous celestial atlas Harmonia Macrocosmica by Andreas Cellarius, which was first published in 1660. The atlas is considered one of the most beautiful works from the Golden Age of Dutch cartography. The illustration shows various representations of the phases of the moon and their aspects of the sun and earth, digitally restored reproduction from a 17th century model, authentic, exact date of presentation unknown
