Titus (born 30 December 39 in Rome, died 13 September 81 in Aquae Cutiliae, Latium) was the second Roman emperor of the Flavian dynasty, succeeding his father Vespasian. He reigned from 24 June 79 until his death. His full birth name was Titus Flavius Vespasianus, like that of his father, and as emperor he went by the name Imperator Titus Caesar divi Vespasiani filius Vespasianus Augustus, authentic, digitally restored reproduction from a 19th century original, record date not stated
