Casimir I. Karl, known as the Innovator, Kazimierz I Odnowiciel, Casimirus Carolus Restorer, (born July 26, 1016, died November 28, 1058 in Poznan) was the son of the Polish King Mieszko II Lambert from his association with the niece of Emperor Otto III, the German Princess Richeza. Casimir was thus the great-grandson of Emperor Otto II and cognate of the German aristocracy, illustration, reproduction from a model from the 19th century.
