Jogaila, Wladyslaw Jagiello, (born in front of 1362, died June 1, 1434 in Gródek) was Grand Prince of Lithuania from 1377 to 1381, and again from 1382 to 1401. After his baptism and marriage to the Polish Queen Hedwig of Anjou, Jadwiga Andegawenska, crowned in Krakow in 1386 as Wladyslaw II Jagiello as King of Poland and reigned in personal union together with his wife until her death on July 17, 1399 and then alone over Poland until his death, illustration, reproduction of a model from the 19th century.
