Pioneering Spirit. Workboat of the Swiss offshore service provider Allseas. The world's largest workboat for laying pipelines. It is the largest ship ever built in terms of gross tonnage and width. It is 382 metres long and 123 metres wide. From the end of 2018, it was busy laying the Nord Stream 2 pipeline in the Baltic Sea. Maasvlakte 2 deep-sea harbour, Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands
