Ford history. It's factory in Highland park Michigan USA was a production facility for the Model T car and has become known for being the first factory in history to assemble cars on a moving assembly line. In 1927 the new model A was in production and the picture taken that year shows the assembly line with bodies and chassis being assembled by factory workers
