The island of Ummanz, Rügen, which lies on the Kubitzer and Schaproder Bodden, is after all the fourth largest island in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with 20 km². The beautiful nature with its unique flora and fauna has been incorporated into the national park. The island is a flat and manageable land that rises barely 3 m above sea level
