On 13 and 14 February 1945, Dresden was heavily destroyed in three Allied bombing raids. Every year, the people of Dresden commemorate this event at various events. A long human chain symbolises the protection of the city centre. With S?I?L?E?N?T?I?U?M?, OchoReSotto presents a video installation on the façade of the Semperoper that translates the architecture, history and gestures of the opera house into a haunting visual language. Historical fragments, architectural patterns and precisely documented movements merge into lively compositions that oscillate between dynamism and deliberate standstill, Dresden, Saxony, Germany
