Reick gasworks, 1907 08 Hans Erlwein designed the gas tank of the municipal gasworks in Reick, a cylinder with a diameter of 60 metres. Gas operations ceased in 1973, and after reunification there were ambitious plans to build a musical theatre (for the musical Sissi) inside the shell
