Prohlis is a district of Dresden in the borough of the same name, located in the south-east of the city on the Geberbach and usually equated with the Plattenbau area (new housing development Dresden-Prohlis) . The Palitzsch Museum and a branch of the Dresden Youth Art School are located in the only remaining courtyard of the old village centre (first mentioned in 1288) .
