DEGES is currently building the 172n federal road as a southern bypass of Pirna, starting from the B 172a. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on 3 August 2017. A first section up to the Seidewitz valley was opened on 15 December 2022. The entire route is expected to be completed in 2026
