Hamburg in 1958: The seafaring ship Bunte Kuh on the Elbe was launched in 1957 at the Norderwerft shipyard in Hamburg as a sister ship to the Wappen von Hamburg. She was named after Simon von Utrecht's legendary lead ship Bunte Kuh, which hunted down the pirate Klaus Stoertebeker around 1401. She was in service from Cuxhaven to Helgoland until 1962
