This picture was part of the report "There is no Jewish residential district in Warsaw anymore" from May 16, 1943. Written by the SS - and police captain of Warsaw Jürgen Stroop, who was assigned with the ultimate liquidization of the Ghetto since mid - April, this report was first mentioned as document PS - 1061 / exhibit US - 275 during the reading of the indictment before the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg on November 21, 1945.
