Japanese print of Yanone Goro. An unnamed actor plays the samurai Sogo no Goro in the comedic kabuki play Yanone Goro (The Arrowhead). The character is amusing with his out-sized arrow, garish clothing and double-entendres. He is sharpening his arrowhead on a whetstone. Colour woodcut by Kiyomitsu II, (1787-1868).
