Uraniborg, Tycho's observatory on the island of Hven, Denmark, centre. Bottom left is the Emperor Ferdinand I's villa at Prague whereTycho made observations during 1600 and 1601. Tycho Brahe (Tyge Ottesen Brahe - 1546-1601) Danish astronomer, astrologer and alchemist who built astronomical instruments which enabled him to make the most accurate observations of his time.
