Henriette Sontag (1806-1854) celebrated German soprano, born at Koblenz. Engraving of Madame Sontag published in "The Illustrated London News" (London, 7 July 1849) when she appeared at Her Majesty's Theatre, London, in the title role of 'Linda di Chamonix' the opera by Donizetti.
