Prince Albert Victor (1864-1892) and Prince George (later King George V) (1865-1936), sons of the princes of Wales, working in mechanical occupations of seamanship, on board the frigate HMS Britannia, being educated as naval cadets on board of that Royal Navy's training ship. The engraving represents the two royal midshipmen practicing the exercise of tying the ends of a broken cable without tying a knot. La Ilustracion Espanola y Americana, 1878.
