Magic Lantern slide circa 1900. Victorian or Edwardian era. The origional monchrome ( black and white ) photograph hand coloured.The photograph is the work of G.W. Wilson photographer and slide manufacturer 1823-1893.George Washington Wilson (7 February 1823 – 9 March 1893) was a pioneering Scottish photographer. The French Riviera and Monte Carlo (lecture ) Slide 21 Magagnosc. Magagnosc is a village in the Alpes-Maritimes whose ancient origin remains an enigma. Today suburb of Grasse, it is located east of the city, on the road to Vence and Nice , just 4 kilometers as the crow flies from the center.
