The Alexander Sarcophagus which dates from the 4th century BC. The sarcophagus, which which was discovered in Sidon, Lebanon, is made from Pentelic marble, and is adorned with bas-relief carvings of Alexander the Great in battle on one side and hunting on another. It is one of the most prized and most visited possessions of the Istanbul Archeology Museum.
