The Two Dogs Palette obverse, For the Egyptians the deserts bordering the Nile valley were the home of wild animals and mythical beasts. Within the symmetrically carved leaping dogs, and below the long necked beasts the creatures present a disorderly confusion of forms, the very picture of disorder and chaos. Egypt.
