Son of Napoleon Ist and Marie Louise of Austria, he was titled as HM King of Rome by Napoleon as soon as he was born and as Duke of Reichstadt by his grandfather on his mother's side, the Emperor of Austria.
He died at the age of 21 from tuberculosis
