"Le Marseillois" left Marseille on 8th May 1784 at half past nine in the morning in Mr Eyraud's enclosure, with Mr Bonnin and Mazet on board. It landed in the countryside belonging to Mr Perremond, a quarter of a league from its departure point.
The balloon was perfectly spherical with a diameter of 50in.
Received permission and the approval of the academy as well as authorisation from the local police.
Sold to Roullet bookseller on Le Cours in Marseille.
