Une chambre bunker installee au sous-sol a l'epoque du general Thieu ou ce dernier se refugiait lors des tensions politiques lorsque cet endroit s'appelait le Palais de l'Independance, édifice construit a l’emplacement de l’ancien Palais Norodom sur les plans de l’architecte Ngo Viet Thu, premier vietnamien laureat du prix de Rome.
