Vietnam. Saigon. The collections of the Ho Chi Minh City Museum. 65 Ly Tu Trong Street, District 1, which was formerly the Governor of Indochina's residence, then the office of the French High Commissioner after 1945. It served as the Governor of the South's palace during the Diem regime before housing the Supreme Court under the Thieu regime. Here, a Vespa motorcycle used by the Communist Party to transport soldiers, ammunition, weapons, and documents between Saigon and the liberated zones during the war against the Americans between 1968 and 1971.
