Engins legendaires, tels que le celebre sous-marin français Nautile engage dans la decouverte de l’epave du Titanic. Ici, un passant devant le memorial a la memoire des 763 marins de la 66eme division d'infanterie americaine noyes dans le naufrage du navire Leopoldville le 24 decembre 1944 devant Cherbourg.

In particular, the Grande Galerie des Engins et des Hommes (Great Gallery of Machines and Men) is distinguished by its collection of submersibles that have marked the history of sea and ocean exploration. Legendary vessels, such as the famous French submersible Nautile, which participated in the discovery of the Titanic wreck.
