Cimetiere national de Fleury-devant-Douaumont regroupant les depouilles des soldats morts pour la France au cours des combats dans la region de Verdun lors de la Premiere Guerre Mondiale entre 1914 et 1918. Soit plus de 16000 tombes individuelles et 592 dans un carre musulman. Batiment inaugure en 1929 a l'initiative de l'eveque de Verdum, Mgr Ginisty, president du Comite de l'Ossuaire, il a ete concu par les architectes Leon Azema, Max Edrei et Jacques Hardy. The Fleury-devant-Douaumont National Cemetery contains the remains of soldiers who died for France during the fighting in the Verdun region during the First World War between 1914 and 1918. It comprises over 16,000 individual graves and 592 in a Muslim section. The building, inaugurated in 1929 at the initiative of the Bishop of Verdun, Mgr. Ginisty, president of the Ossuary Committee, was designed by the architects Léon Azema, Max Edrei, and Jacques Hardy. The foundation stone was laid in 1920 by Marshal Pétain.
