In the upper row, people with hats and cloaks gather around an interior space where muskets are fired and a large cauldron is shown being tended behind open doors, while other figures drag or restrain individuals near architectural facades and a tall ornate church entrance. The middle and lower panels depict crowded street scenes with men pulling ropes attached to a suspended naked body, groups of onlookers and officials clustered on cobblestone surfaces, and a row of soldiers or guards moving across a bridge toward a fortified tower and surrounding urban buildings. Flames and plumes of smoke rise from a large fire in one scene where people stand nearby, and various architectural details such as timbered houses, church spires, and a looming round tower appear throughout the composition. The figures display gestures of pulling, pointing, restraining, and tending to implements, with dense hatching and linework creating texture and shading across clothing, faces, and the built environment.
