Men and women wear elaborate garments including cloaks, long dresses with trains, doublets, and wide-brimmed or tall hats often adorned with plumes. Some figures carry staffs, banners, or long poles, while others walk arm in arm or stand in groups conversing. Architectural elements appear at the top right with a building façade, windows, and a doorway from which crowds emerge. Small groups of musicians with trumpets are visible near the top left, and rows of attendants and onlookers line the procession route. The composition includes finely hatched shading and crosshatching to indicate texture and depth, and there is decorative script and ornamental lines interspersed near the figures and along the lower portion of the image.
