On a raised exterior gallery a group of men surround a seated figure while others stand by a fabric backdrop and pillars; nearby two men grasp a third near a doorway. In the open courtyard men in cloaks and hats walk or stand in small groups, some gesturing or being led by soldiers, and a mounted rider moves through the space. In the background a platform holds prone figures and a person standing with an elevated arm, while clustered buildings and a tower rise behind the crowd. Architectural details include brickwork, shuttered windows, columns, balustrades, and staircases, and the lower margin contains blocks of inscribed text.
