A Batavian wearing a cocked hat and cockade, just like the classical hero Mucius Scaevola, holds his right hand with a saber in the fire on an altar. In his other hand, he holds a banner with an unfilled Lr. On the altar is the unfilled No., to indicate the club to which the patriot belonged. Furthermore, the Dutch Lion, a Keeshond, a book on the Rights of Man, and an enemy upon whom the patriot sets his foot.
