Inside the alcove three human figures are depicted in classical dress: one figure is seated on a low stone, leaning slightly back with one hand raised and the other resting on the knee, another figure kneels on the ground facing the seated figure with an outstretched hand and a small bowl held near the seated figure, and a third figure stands beside the seated figure with a hand resting gently on the seated figure’s shoulder. The ground in front of the alcove is uneven with scattered small stones and patches of grass, and plants grow at the base of the ruined walls. The engraving uses fine lines and crosshatching to create shading and texture throughout the scene.
