A woman in the center wears a bonnet and a long dress with a cloak, one arm extended toward a man on the left while the other is held by a man on the right. The man on the right wears a uniform-like coat with epaulette details and a tall hat with decorative bands, and he raises a slender sword above the woman's head. The man on the left wears a top hat and a coat with his arms crossed, his body turned slightly away from the other two. Behind them is a bench with a decorative pedestal amid dense foliage and textured tree trunks framing the scene. The ground is patterned with small stones or gravel.
