Amsterdam, Isaak Tirion, 1749-59., Person, Hendrik Aeneae, A monochrome engraved portrait of an older man shown in profile facing left, depicted inside an oval frame with textured concentric lines; the man has a high forehead and powdered hair pulled back and tied, with short curls above the ear, and he wears a dark coat with a high collar over a light-colored cravat folded at the throat; the background within the oval is densely stippled while the surrounding area outside the frame shows horizontal and vertical engraved line patterns and a rectangular panel beneath the portrait.
