Thirteenth part, 1794., Person, Sicco Douwe van Aylva, A framed engraved portrait of a man in period clothing is shown above a plinth; the man has light-colored hair styled back and curled at the sides, a high forehead, and a composed facial expression, and he wears a dark coat with visible buttons and a light cravat at the neck; the frame around the portrait is decorative with patterned molding and rests against a textured background composed of horizontal and vertical linework, while the plinth beneath the frame has a recessed oval panel and layered base elements, all rendered in fine engraved lines.
