He wears a broad, pleated ruff collar and a draped sash over a dark, textured garment with visible seams and buttons. His hair is wavy and shoulder-length, and he has a mustache and a small pointed beard on his chin. The oval frame features concentric molded rings and sits above a rectangular plinth with a recessed, rounded-rectangular panel, all rendered with fine crosshatching and parallel line shading.
