Volume XV., Person, Floris V (Count of Holland and Zeeland), An engraved oval portrait of a bearded man wearing a jeweled crown topped with feathers is set within a decorative frame; the man has wavy hair, a mustache, and a trimmed beard, and he wears a fur-lined cloak fastened with an ornate brooch and a chain with a pendant, all rendered with fine crosshatching and parallel lines against a textured background and a pedestal-like base below the oval.
