Vol XV., Person, Otto Derk Gordon, A monochrome engraved portrait shows a man framed within a circular border set against a textured rectangular background, wearing a broad-brimmed hat adorned with a plume and a decorative rosette, his hair styled in curled locks at the sides. He has an oval face with pronounced eyes, a straight nose, and a closed mouth, and he is dressed in a uniform showing a high collar, a cravat tied at the neck, and ornamental shoulder decorations. Below the circular portrait is a rectangular panel containing a wreath surrounding a cylindrical object and flanked by leafy sprigs, all rendered with crosshatching and fine line work.
