In front of the building a crowd fills the street, including uniformed soldiers in formation firing muskets that produce large plumes of smoke, musicians with instruments, and groups of onlookers on balconies and at street level. A raised pavilion or platform projects from the building where several figures stand and others look out, and decorative wreaths and garlands adorn the architecture. The sky is filled with layered clouds above the scene.
