Broken columns and architectural fragments lie near the base of the tomb, and a ruined column with a capital leans in the foreground. Behind the woman there are two classical columns supporting an entablature with foliage cascading over it, and trees with detailed leaves and drooping branches frame the left and right sides. In the middle and background a rocky landscape rises toward a hilltop with clustered buildings and towers, and smaller structures and vegetation fill the slopes and valley, with a bridge visible near a waterway. Fine linework textures define the stone, foliage, and drapery across the composition.
