He has short, neatly combed hair and sideburns, and a composed facial expression. The coat has a row of round buttons down the front and a large, star-shaped medal pinned on the left side of his chest. The background is a finely textured, shaded field framed by a thin decorative border, and the lower portion of the image contains blank space with decorative printed text visible near the bottom.
