The central focus is a massive archway with textured masonry, a partially preserved entablature, and sculpted reliefs on the upper triangular pediment. Vegetation grows on the rooflines and in crevices. To the right, a façade with rectangular windows, decorative pilasters, and a statue set into a niche is visible, while to the left additional buildings with windows and ledges adjoin the ruin. Small groups of people stand and sit near the base of the structures, some interacting around a raised platform and others scattered along the ground, with a few animals nearby. Debris and stone fragments lie in the foreground. The sky above is lightly engraved with cloud forms.
