The series consists of a vignette and twelve prints., ruin of a building, architecture, gallery (spacious corridor), Alban Hills, A wide interior scene rendered in dark ink shows a vaulted arched ceiling with repetitive rectangular coffers receding into the distance, flanked by high walls with niches and archways; small human figures stand and move along a central walkway beneath the vault, some gathered in groups and others isolated, with a few seated or leaning at the edges; large shadowed plant forms and foliage appear along the sides, particularly dense on the right where branches extend into the space, while rough stone textures and rubble occupy the foreground; light appears concentrated toward the distant end of the vault, creating strong contrasts of light and shadow throughout the scene.
